Welcome to free-ebooks! At this page you can find notes and books related to mathematics and other scientific areas. As you will find out, free-ebooks provides material primarily in computing courses, coding languages and mathematical physics, but there is also an effort to include any other interesting text that is available for free.

Books in this site are published either in acrobat pdf format, or as html pages viewable online. Some of them that were originally in postscript format, have been converted to pdf for convenience. We have tried to organize everything in the best possible way, however some books happen to cover more than one fields, consequently their classification in only one of these might not be completelly objective. If you have any suggestion in that regard, please contact us.

To view pdf files, you need to install adobe acrobat reader software, which can be downloaded from Adobe's official page.

Most of the books are hosted locally at this server. This is a concious choice, so that there is no dependance from other sites that can possibly modify their content in a way that would render the material not available. The only exception is for a few books whose licence demands to be downloaded through the author's site. All books available in this site are legally distributed, under a free licence. If, however, you have reasons to believe that a file shouldn't be distributed through our page, please contact us as soon as possible!
